Our Story

We met the old fashioned way — on Hinge.

What started as a match turned into a shared love of outdoor adventures, music, and staying active together. Somewhere between the trailheads and the playlists, we realized our friends got along just as well as we did.

We share the values that matter and just enough differences to keep things interesting — which is, we think, the makings of a perfect bond. Now we get to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us, in Umbria.

Welcome Party

Check-in, drop your bags, and settle into the borgo! We'll have a welcome dinner and drinks to kick off the weekend!

The Wedding

The big day! Ceremony, dinner, and dancing under the Umbrian sky. This is the one we've been waiting for. Full timeline coming closer to the date.

Pool Party

Recovery day, done right. Sunshine, drinks, games, and the pool at the borgo. Followoed by dinner and a relaxing evening event. More details to come.

Where We'll Be

SPAO, Allerona

Borgo San Pietro Aquaeortous

Tucked into the lush hills of Umbria and bordering a national park, SPAO is home base for the whole weekend! Everyone stays under one (ancient) roof, so the celebration never really stops.

Accommodations at SPAO include daily breakfast and dinners throughout the weekend. Lunches and drinks throughout the day can be purchased at the on-site restaurant and bars. So once you arrive in Allerona, you really won't need to worry about a thing!

Getting There

However you'd like to arrive

Fly

Rome

The nearest major international airport is Rome (FCO) which is about a 2 hours from SPAO. From Rome, you can either take a shuttle (additional information TBA), train, or drive. The Florence airport is about 2 hours and the Perugia airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes from SPAO.

Drive

Rent a Car from Rome

We love driving through Italy, and this is one of our favorite ways to see it. Pick up a car in Rome and make the scenic drive out to Umbria. SPAO has parking included on site.

Train

Orvieto Station

Take the train into Orvieto, then a short car or cab ride to the venue. A relaxed, scenic alternative to driving the whole way.

Shuttle

Group Transport

We'll likely arrange for shuttles depending on need. Sign up details and pickup points will be shared as we finalize the schedule.

When is the RSVP deadline

We'll share our RSVP deadline once the form goes live. For now, just mark your calendar and stay tuned.

Can I bring a guest?

Plus ones are noted on your invitation. If you're unsure whether yours includes a guest, just reach out to us directly.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but politely request this be an adults-only weekend. We hope this gives everyone the chance to enjoy a little Italian getaway with us. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

The schedule section of this website will be updated with additional dress-code information.

What shoes should I wear (or avoid)?

There are plenty of grassy and dirt areas, so opt for block heels or sandals. We don’t want anyone ruining their shoes or twisting an ankle.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors.

What's the weather like in July?

Italy in July is HOT and sunny during the day with mild evenings. Please pack accordingly and be sure to bring a swimsuit.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence is truly the present! No need to get us anything-seriously. But for those who ask, our registry will be linked in the Registry section below once it's ready.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We'd love for you to take photos and share them in our shared album which will be linked closer to the event.
